Chaplains attend the Maple Shade Fire Department Open House

On Friday October 4th, 2019, Chaplain Mike Stinsman, and Chaplain Evelyn Galloway along MSPD Traffic Officer Matthew Shaw, and Chief Christopher Fletcher attended the Maple Shade Fire Department Open House.

It was an opportunity for the Chaplains and the Police Department to come together with our other First Responders to celebrate Fire Prevention Week. The Chaplains handed out hundreds of gift bags to the children in attendance as part of our community engagement initiative and continue to look for opportunities to support our First Responders in Maple Shade.

The Chaplains reminder everyone if you see something, say something, in an effort to keep our community safe. One call does it all in Maple Shade, 856-234-8300 will connect you to the Police, the Fire Department, and the First Aid Squad.

Donation to the Maple Shade Food Bank

Policemen’s Benevolent Association Local 267 raised $780.00 in the popular Dunk-A-Cop tank at the 2019 National Night Out. These funds, along with a donation from the Maple Shade Moose Lodge of $500.00 were presented to the Maple Shade Food Bank to help stamp out hunger.

This generous cash contribution was combined with a record amount of donations of goods at the National Night Out event. It is another example of Shaders helping Shaders.

Please continue to donate all year long. For more information follow this link https://www.facebook.com/MapleShadeFoodBank/
