MSPCA Makes Donation to “A Place To Go”

President of the MSPCA Chaplain Vince McDonald is pleased to announce a $500.00 donation to “A Place To Go” in an effort to help support their arts program. Founder of “A Place To Go” Kristi Levandoski was present to receive the donation and expressed her gratitude to the MSPCA, the Chaplain Corp, and the Police Department for their continued support.

Community Organization Expo 2018

On Saturday October 27th, 2018, the Maple Shade Moose Lodge held the Community Organization Expo at the Maple Shade Fire House. The event drew organizations from throughout the township in an effort to raise awareness of what each organization offers to the community and to the prospective member. In attendance representing the PBA Local 267 was President Tony Blinebury and representing the Maple Shade Police Chaplain Association was Capt. Chris Fletcher. In addition, the children of Maple Shade enjoyed indoor trick or treating at the event in a safe and secure environment with free candy, hot dogs, and soda provided free to all.

Maple Shade Fire Department Open House 10/5/18

The Maple Shade Police Chaplain Corps wishes to thank the Maple Shade Fire Department for their invitation to their Open House event that was held on Friday 10/5/18.

Chaplains Mike Stinsman, Evelyn Galloway, and Annemarie Cook were present along with Captain Chris Fletcher to hand out gift bags to all of the children in attendance.  Officer Matt Shaw of MSPD and representing Maple Shade PBA Local 267 was also present handing out mini-flashlights to all the kids and their families.

Captain Fletcher wishes to thank the sponsors of the gift bags, Investors Bank, Roma Bank, Mark Tilghman Funeral Home, Laurel Lanes Bowling Alley, and the Maple Shade Police Chaplain Association.

It was a great family fun event for all that brought our first responders and community together to learn about fire safety.
